Spring cleaning has got to be one of the most spiritual times of the year for me. We often think of clearing material things from our lives when we think of spring cleaning, but this month is so much more than that. It's already day 15 of the Spiritual Shift Happens challenge - a way for us to really think about the shifts we need to make in our lives to enhance our spiritual connections. That's why spring cleaning is so important to me.
This month I'm not only focused on clearing material things in my life - donating clothes and footwear, for example - I'm also focused on clearing baggage I'm carrying around that's been holding my spirit back. That looks like taking inventory of my joy stock, and noticing where I have deficits. You see, part of making spiritual shifts in our lives has a lot to do with acknowledging our current reality, having a clear understanding of where we want to be, and assessing the gaps to help us get there.
So, tell me where you want to be? What spiritual shifts are you planning on making happen so you can get there?
One of my fitness accountability partners is embarking on a 30-day challenge, Shift Happens, and that inspired today's message. We are also in need of constant spiritual self-care, so I want to challenge you to join me on a 30 day spiritual shift.
